Hash key on a Mac keyboard on Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy
To get the missing hash key working on your Mac keyboard on Ubuntu (under Mac Os X it’s alt+3) you need to edit your keyboard settings.
First choose these options from the menu at the top of your screen:
- System
- Preferences
- Keyboard
Now choose the “Layouts” tab from the top of the new window the click the “Layout Options…” button.
You will be presented with a nice list of option, near the bottom you should see “Third Level Choosers”, click this
