Lightpress

If you like many others out there use Wordpress, you may love it, I know we do.

Many people template for wordpress without complaint, I mean, what is there to complain about? Well…

• Wordpress has some god awful, complicated code in it’s templates, the xhtml/css is full of id’s and classes. I don’t see the point since most blogs all follow the symantec markup tradition of h1,h2,h3… Even the “sandbox” template could do with a lot of improvement. I recently integrated it into a clients website and was like “chop that out, chop that out, chop that out… And the amount of repetition in it… One day I shall release a webs-sandbox theme.
• It’s PHP based contemplating, if you don’t do PHP and are not familiar with programming in general then this may be difficult for you.

So along comes lightbox, a smarty based front end for wordpress…
